Two tracks

Two kinds of proof. One way of working.

Whether you need an audit passed or an attack surface tested, every engagement is scoped in writing, run by practitioners, and closed with evidence.

Compliance programs

For the auditor
  1. Scope & applicabilityWhich framework, which systems, which period.
  2. Gap assessmentEach control measured, each gap ranked by risk.
  3. Policies & controlsWritten for how you operate, then put into practice.
  4. EvidenceCollected as controls run, not the week before.
  5. Mock auditA dry run, so the real one has no surprises.
  6. Auditor handoverWe work alongside your CPA firm or certification body.

Security testing

For the attacker
  1. Written scopeTargets, environments and rules of engagement.
  2. Manual testingBusiness logic, chained exploits, authorization gaps.
  3. Live escalationCritical findings flagged the day we find them.
  4. ReportReproduction steps, impact and the specific fix.
  5. WalkthroughWith the engineers who have to fix it.
  6. RetestEvery fix verified, and the report reissued.

Resources · 218 guides

Plain-language guides, for the people who have to decide.

What each framework really asks, how audits work, and the mistakes worth avoiding. Written to be read in one sitting, with the key terms marked.

  1. What is SOC 2?

The attestation, the five categories, Type 1 vs Type 2, in plain words.

  2. What is an ISMS?

The management system ISO 27001 certifies: policies, risk, controls, review.

  3. AI governance & the AIMS

Principles, clauses 4–10, the operating model and the first five moves.

  4. GDPR principles & lawful basis

The seven principles of Article 5 and the six lawful bases.

  5. NIST CSF 2.0 explained

The six functions, from Govern to Recover, and how the Core is built.

  6. SOC 1 vs SOC 2 vs SOC 3

Who asks for each report, how the three differ, and when you need two.

Questions

Questions buyers ask before we start.

Ask us something else
Which compliance frameworks do you work with?

Our compliance team runs readiness assessments, gap analysis and audit coordination for SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, HIPAA, GDPR and NIST CSF 2.0. Our penetration tests can be scoped to a framework's testing requirements, so one test serves both.

What does a penetration test actually involve?

A structured, manual attempt to break into a defined target (a web app, network, cloud environment or mobile app) using the techniques a real attacker would. You get a written scope, active testing, and a report ranking findings by real-world exploitability, not a scan with a cover page.

How long does an engagement take?

Most single-application or single-network tests run one to three weeks, depending on scope. Larger engagements and compliance programs are scoped individually. You get a firm timeline in writing before work starts.

What happens after you find a vulnerability?

Every finding is documented with reproduction steps, business impact and a concrete remediation path. Critical findings are flagged to you during the engagement, not held until the final report.

Do you retest after we fix something?

Yes. A retest window is included in every engagement, so you get confirmation that a fix actually closed the gap, and a reissued report to show it.

Do you issue certificates?

No, and nobody honest in our position does. A CPA firm signs a SOC 2 report and an accredited certification body issues ISO certificates. We prepare and test you, and hand over evidence they accept.
